SA provides sound level services to ensure compliance with the local and State noise standards. The New Jersey Noise Control Act authorizes the New Jersey Environmental Protection Agency (NJDEP) to promulgate codes, rules, and regulations relating to the control and abatement of noise. In addition to State standards, municipal and county governing bodies may develop noise control ordinances that are more stringent than State standards. SA Certified Noise Technicians have been involved in noise projects throughout the State that have required conformance to various local noise control ordinance standards. SA provides air quality services to ensure compliance with the National Ambient Air Quality Standards (NAAQS), which are required of developments located within the jurisdiction of specific New Jersey regulatory agencies. SA air quality experts have been involved in air quality projects throughout the State that have been under the jurisdictions of the Pinelands Commission, the NJDEP's Coastal Area Facility Review Act (CAFRA), and the New Jersey Meadowlands Commission.
